Indie Hotspot Jazz Series presents singer/flutist/entertainer Kaylene Peoples, who will be performing some of her favorite jazz standards with the All-Star Orchestra at the House of Blues Foundation Room.  The All-Star Orchestra is a high-caliber group of talented musicians whose individual accomplishments and careers are very impressive.  For this performance, along with Kaylene Peoples, pianist Kevin Flournoy, guitarist Mark Hammond, drummer Tony Moore, and bassist Vashon Johnson will be putting on an impressive performance of virtuoso playing and soloing.

The performance will take place at 9 pm, at the House of Blues Foundation Room.  A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Agenda Foundation’s filmmaking program for foster youth; and tickets can be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com.

The indie Hotspot Jazz Series’ past performers, musicians, and special guests have been actor/singer Chase Masterson, actor/singer Jay Jackson, singer Sophia Bastian, bassist Del Atkins, drummer Cory Mason, guitarist Jeff Chayette, and saxophonist Dave Pell.  Red Carpet attendees have been Hubert Laws, William Jeffrey, and Bill A. Jones just to name a few.

As an event sponsor, Agenda Magazine (http://www.agendamag.com) will be sponsoring giveaways for the first 15 tickets sold.  These ticket holders will receive their gift bag at the door upon arrival to the venue.  We at the Indie Hotspot hope to see you there at the House of Blues on September 28!

Special note:  Kaylene Peoples will be dressed by couture designer Octavio Carlin, wearing one of his exquisite gowns.
