Author: Boogsey Music

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2011

February 3, 2011, Amy Marie Goetz (http://www.amymariegoetz.com) will launch her premier collection, “A Kiss of the Orchid,” to help raise awareness and funding for Agenda Foundation, a nonprofit that aids foster youth in filmmaking. The event will be held at Agenda Loft (http://www.agendaloft.com), located at 400 South Main Street, Studio 601, Los Angeles, CA 90013 from 7:00-10:00 P.M. Kaylene Peoples, co-founder of Agenda Loft and founder of Agenda Foundation, will be doing a special performance of her first single from her soon-to-be released CD, “Kiss of the Orchid,” named in honor of Amy Marie’s launch.

Amy Marie Goetz has been heavily involved in the fashion industry in both modeling and design. She modeled for many years in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles before taking steps to put out her first collection. In the last several months of preparation, Amy Marie has created a line of high-end dress wear and has introduced her ready-to-wear label AMGoetz. While creating her brand, she is incorporating high quality production to ensure that each piece meets the highest standards. Amy Marie has pulled together a strong team who believes in the growth of her label.

“We are committed to offering a product that influences women to feel confident, beautiful, and unique as individuals. To me, it’s all about creating a product that uplifts another woman’s life. This is my motivation to create my own label, Amy Marie.”—Amy Marie Goetz

This emerging designer is just as visionary in her approach as she is creative in her marketing tactics. She has collaborated with recording artist Kaylene Peoples (https://www.boogseymusic.com) to put a rare twist on her brand. Kaylene and record producer Rich Mouser are producing a French Tango album. The single “Amy Marie” will be available for sale through purchasing an Amy Marie design. Proceeds from the sales of the album (“A Kiss of the Orchid”) will go to benefit foster youth who are part of the Agenda Foundation film program.

The title “The Kiss of the Orchid” was inspired by the French painter Michael Stervinou (http://www.michaelstervinou.com), whose latest collection is based on his collaboration with Amy Marie Goetz Women’s Wear. The two met in 2010 and discovered their shared passion for fashion and art. They created a unique project together, which will be unveiled at her fashion show on February 3. Amy Marie is the only authorized designer to use Stervinou’s images in her work. (Michael Stervinou will be exhibiting his paintings at Agenda Loft beginning February 2, the day before Amy Marie’s fashion show.)

“I was instantly inspired by Stervinou’s use of bold color and abstract proportions—the way color in itself influences a mood. Each print makes an individual feel energetic and passionate. Even though Michael and I are from separate parts of the world, I was persistent in working with him. My design philosophy is based on originality. We are offering a line of fabric prints sold exclusively through our own collection. This way there will be no other style like Amy Marie.”—Amy Marie Goetz

Amy Marie will be styling her collection with hats from Izziana Millinery and jewelry by Vintage Glo Designs.

About Agenda Foundation
Agenda Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that offers a platform for foster youth to express themselves and share their unique experiences through cinema. This filmmaking opportunity is provided for a highly screened group of foster children who are placed in a classroom setting where they learn from industry professionals how to make a movie from start to finish. Students showing promise in the film industry will be placed in apprenticeship programs as they age out of the foster care system to help further their careers. Agenda Foundation will continue to find ways to fund the innovative and opportunity-filled programs for America’s foster youth in the film industry.
